{Relationships start with social conversations}
For some people social media means wasting time, not working, over hyped web 2.0, just a new fad etc but for many people , it’s a great platform for individuals, businesses and societies. It changes the dynamics of individual behaviors, creates business shifts, encourages customer first thinking, bringing social changes, supporting social causes and more about being part of new age knowledge sharing medium.
Below are couple of reasons, why I think social media is different:
- It’s about connecting with real people and networking - No more physical boundary barriers.
- Being part of knowledge sharing medium along with life streaming personal experiences - The value creation ecosystem.
- Every brand or company or individual claims are verifiable by Social Media Platforms and Google - You cannot fake who and what you are?.
- Democratizes the engagement process of businesses with their consumers or prospects - Humanizes your brand and encourages dialogue with consumers.
- Encourages consumers behavioral shift as people move from product or service consumption state to participation age changing the way businesses operate - Leveraging the benefits of behavioral enconomics.
